Grant money is at work in Bryan
Last December the city was awarded a $400,000
Community Development Block Grant. This money can be
applied to half the cost of eligible building
improvements in the downtown district.
Mandy Hanna, executive director of Downtown Bryan
Inc., said work is under way on two additional
projects. Doug and Rita Harding own the Rita's &
JB's building at 210 W. Butler St., which is
receiving funding for half the cost of a $49,820
roof project...read more
